Weapons: 4. Expert Level

The following eight fighting sets are recommended for Black Sash level students, instructors, or highly accomplished martial artists only.  They will speak for themselves.  The first seven are solo sets that have few, if any, counterparts in any other style or system.  The first five out of the seven are ''Master Forms'' (Traveler's Cane, Tiger Rulers, Dragon Rulers, Butterfly Knives, and Tiger Fork); that is, so many of the major moves normally associated with these weapons have been included in these sets that full mastery of the weapon can be attained within the structure of just one form!!!  The last three of the eight are two-man combat sets and take a back seat to nothing when it comes to dynamic and spectacular movement.  If you have seen the Beijing Wu Shu Troop perform any of their more complicated 2-man forms, then you may have some idea of what these are like (minus the irrelevant gymnastics of Wu Shu and plus the more practical applications!)  Not enough can be said about these eight forms - they are outstanding in every respect, develop all desirable martial arts characteristics, are certainly real crowd pleasers for any exhibition or tournament, lend themselves completely to devastating combat applications, and are only available from Green Dragon, who has a copyright on the tapes.
