In keeping with the other weapons sets in the section, this is one of the finest forms of its kind. Long and demanding, it encompasses a very wide range of broadsword moves and maneuvering. Dramatic in appearance when performed with power and speed. Another contest winner in our experience. When learned in addition to the Hong Long Tan Tao, exposure to most of the major combinations with the sword (either light or heavy) will have taken place. The in-depth program of combat applications for both of these sets would give you at least 25-30 major broadsword techniques for demonstration and/or self-defense.
